How To Store Homemade Caramel Frosting

Refrigerate frosting in an airtight container for up to five days. Set at room temperature until spreadable before using. If too firm, heat lightly in the microwave or over a double boiler until softened. You may need to rewhip lightly before using.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup salted butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
